Welcome to Universal Studios Hollywood!
Located off the 101 freeway in the heart of Hollywood, Universal Studios is the world's largest, and arguable most famous Movie Studio & Theme park. You are literally so close to the action that you can hear the directors yell "cut" and the cameras roll. Not only will you be able to see an actual Hollywood movie being filmed before your eyes, but you also have access to sets for a "behind the scenes" view of some of Hollywood's great movies. Along with the sets there are also thrill rides that use actual movie props, sets and the look and feel to recreate the movie itself. Revenge of the Mummy-The Ride, Van Helsing - Fortress Dracula both offer an interactive glimpse into the depths of both movies, and the characters who live around them. You also have the choice of experiencing Jurassic Park, Terminator, WaterWorld, the special effect stages, studio tours or any of the parks dining and shopping opportunities while inside Universal Studios Hollywood.

As an added bonus of sorts Universal Studios City Walk is right next door to Universal Studios. City Walk offers a great place to catch some live blues, grab a bite to eat, catch one of their special events or experience some holiday magic throughout the year. In addition to all this excitement and fun, it is also free! There is no admission fee to experience City Walk, and this makes it a great way to get some more Universal Studios time in for free. Of course, some of the venues do charge an entrance fee, and the IMAX theater offers tickets for their shows, but by in large this is a free "attraction" in the heart of Hollywood. City Walk also offers a "Movie, Meal & Parking" deal that bundles these three components together. This allows you to spend a great night out with the family or friends and truly experience what it was that made Hollywood famous. If you are looking at parting the night away, City Walk offers an all-access club pass called the "Nighttime Party Pass" which offer you an all-access experience to all the clubs within City Walk.
*-One note to mention, these City Walk party passes are NOT valid during the month of December.
City Walk also offers 14 fine restaurants to choose from, when the hungry pains start to set in. B.B. King's Blues Club, with live nightly music, Buca de Beppo, the Hard Rock Café, the Karl Strauss Brewery, Wolfgang Puck Café and local favorites Gladstone's all offer a wide array of dining options, food styles and ambiance to choose from. The restaurants make City Walk a dining destination all in itself, and allow you to have a fine meal, then take a stroll out and wander through the levels for memorable evening out in Hollywood.
