OK, so you came to San Diego for the fun, the sun and the beaches of this fine city. Many come for these reasons alone, and find that the food in this part of the woods is as good as it gets. Just 17 miles from Mexico and you have a great conglomeration of cultures, a year round growing season and over 2 million hungry mouths. This makes San Diego one of the up and coming culinary destinations in the country.

Shopping has always been a pastime here in sunny San Diego and for good reason. With the great weather and all of the open-air malls, shopping centers and streets it make for a great afternoon. San Diego is probably the only place where you have to apply sunscreen before you hit the mall, which is certainly not a bad thing. How many other people do you know that get a tan while shopping!
