Celebrate Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure® Park

January 23 to February 18, 2024, come ring in the Year of the Dragon with friends, family, food and some favorite Characters at the Lunar New Year festival at Disney California Adventure® Park! During this multicultural celebration, you can enjoy spectacular live entertainment, a bustling marketplace, regional cuisine, themed décor, fun-filled activities and more. All filled with wishes for health, luck and prosperity throughout the year.

Start the festivities off with a bang at Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession featuring Mulan, Mushu, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Chip, Dale and a spirited group of entertainers. Catch a captivating procession that travels from Hollywood Land to Pixar Pier. The show kicks off as the sound of triumphant music fills the air and dozens of beautifully costumed performers populate the street. You won’t be able to take your eyes off this dazzling display featuring Mulan, some Disney pals and a spirited group of entertainers—a Chinese dragon puppet, warriors, drummers and dancers.

Enjoy live music, including performances by a cappella group Vocal Seoul. Graze through six marketplaces serving up delicious Chinese-, Korean- and Vietnamese-inspired culinary delights. Take a piece of the fun home with you by purchasing themed merchandise. Buy a Sip and Savor Pass, now available with a bar code for faster and easier purchasing. Try your hand at festive crafts. Stroll beneath strings of ornamental lanterns, make a wish and dare to dream big during the new year. Stop by the Wishing Wall located in Paradise Gardens—it’s where Lunar New Year magic begins! Guests of all ages are welcomed to add their own special message of hope, health and happiness for the upcoming year.

Throughout the Park, you can also meet Characters like Mushu, Mulan, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Goofy. Plus, meet Raya at her specially themed location at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Don’t miss this unforgettable celebration to welcome the Year of the Dragon!

Both a valid Park admission and Park reservation for the same Park on the same date are required for Park entry. A Sip and Savor Pass will be valid only for the specific event and dates specified on the pass, and will not be valid at any other event or at any other time. Passes are subject to restrictions and are not valid for Theme Park admission. Event elements are subject to restrictions, change or cancellation without notice.
