Planning your next family vacation, girl’s weekend, or romantic getaway? No matter the occasion, Disneyland® Resort has dining options to fit any and all of you and travel buddies’ needs.

With aRes Travel’s guide to food and dining at Disneyland® Resort, you’ll find the top choices for strict dietary restrictions, indulgent pit stop eats, quick bites, and table service meals that range from convenient to decadent for the ultimate Disneyland® Resort dining experiences.

Table Service Restaurants

Sometimes, you simply need to take a break from the non-stop action of Disneyland® Resort. Why not do so at a nice, relaxing sit-down meal.

With the many table service restaurants that Disneyland® Resort offers, you are bound to find great food at a reasonable price.

Check out Napa Rose’s seasonal menu for fresh local ingredients in a fine dining atmosphere. You can indulge in California wines paired with a fresh Fish of the Day or a “Prime” New York Steak. Though prices at Napa Rose are a bit steeper than some of the other restaurant choices at Disneyland® Resort, the creative dishes, quality service, and charming ambiance guarantee an unforgettable experience that is the perfect choice for your romantic dinner for two.

If you are craving some south-of-the-border food in a more relaxed atmosphere, head to Tortilla Jo’s for some casual Mexican fare. The popular spot features handmade tortillas, loaded nachos, margaritas, and freshly made guacamole at a reasonable price.

Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria serves up everything from paninis and pizzas to more eclectic menu items, such as the Brasato di Manzo – a dish that features braised short rib served on a bed of polenta.

While it’s a bit pricier than other Italian options, this favorite is located in a more remote area of Downtown Disney for a quiet evening of enjoying Italian fare on the restaurants romantic outdoor seating balcony. However, if you are looking for a quicker and less expensive Italian alternative, Napolini Pizzeria is nearby.

Steakhouse 55’s old Hollywood atmosphere, decorated with vintage Walt Disney photos, rivals any high-end steakhouse chain both in ambiance and quality. Start your day with an indulgent breakfast of steak and eggs or finish your evening with a 38-oz dry-aged Angus porterhouse for two.

For some creole-flavored fare, take the Pirates of the Caribbean ride to dinner at the Blue Bayou Restaurant. The menu features New Orleans inspired jambalaya, and the legendary status of the themed restaurant creates a unique dining experience.

Other noteworthy mentions include the Carthay Circle Restaurant, Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen, Café Orleans, Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, and Storyteller’s Café which all offer unique and impressive sit-down dining experiences for a variety of tastes.

Casual and Quick

With all of that rushing and racing around to get to the next ride, it can be difficult to pin your family down for a table serviced meal. Disneyland® Resort’s casual and quick food options solve that problem by offering quality yet convenient food so that you and your family can get back to the fun faster.

At the French Market Restaurant, customers can find substantial but quick jambalaya dishes and salmon creole. Grab a salad and some clam chowder served in a bread bowl, and head to the outdoor patio to enjoy a quick rest.

French Market Restaurant

The Hungry Bear Restaurant’s counter-service restaurant is an easy option for burgers, chicken sandwiches smothered in honey mustard, and sides of sweet potato fries or crispy onion rings. In the hot California weather, it’s the perfect place to sit in the shade overlooking the Rivers of America while delighting in a delicious and filling meal.

Red Rockett’s Pizza Port offers a wide range of pizzas as well as creative salads that allow diners to try a range of interesting flavors atop a bed of healthy greens. From Asian fusion-themed salads to more traditional chicken Caesars, it’s the perfect spot for a fresh and dynamic salad or a more conventional pepperoni pizza.

Quick between-meal snacks don’t get any easier than they do with Bengal Barbecue’s Jungle Skewers. Spicy Banyan beef skewers or sweetly spiced chieftain chicken skewers are an easy grab-and-go snack for those on the move.

Again, there is a multitude of other excellent casual and quick-bite options at Disneyland® Resort, including Flo’s V8 Café, Paradise Garden Grill, River Belle Terrace, Rancho del Zocalo, and the Cozy Cone Motel.

Indulgent Pit-Stops

You’re on vacation, and that alone warrants a few indulgent desserts. Luckily, the various bakeries and sweets spots at Disneyland® Resort have your sweet-tooth covered.

At the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop, The Earthquake offers diners the ultimate sundae experience. Eight scoops of ice cream, eight toppings, bananas, whipped cream, chopped almonds, chocolate chips, and cherries make up this superior dessert, a must-try for dedicated ice cream fans or anyone with a penchant for dessert-challenges.

For a more practical ice cream option with a kick of creativity, Dole Whip is perhaps the Disneyland® Resort ice cream icon. Their pineapple-infused soft-serve float transports you to the islands and always leaves visitors coming back for more.

If you enjoy a more savory and spicy snack indulgence, head to the Corn Dog Castle and try the Hot-Link Corn Dog, a spicy sausage link wrapped in a sweet and crunchy corn batter.

If that doesn’t fill you up, head over to Café Orleans and the Mint Julep Bar for the Mickey-shaped Beignets. These deep-fried donut-like puffs are served with powdered sugar and both raspberry and vanilla bean dipping sauces.

You can also find fudge at candy shops throughout the resort, stop by the Cozy Cone Motel for pretzel bites dipped in cheese sauce, churro bites, pickle popcorn, or step into the Jolly Holiday Bakery for white coconut macaroons topped with white chocolate for delicious snacks that are both savory and sweet!
